Information for Authors
Final papers are due by October 2, 1998. They must be submitted as a Postscript or Adobe Acrobat file via email to pui98@microsoft.com. See below for formatting details.There are three categories of papers that will be included in the proceedings:
Submission Format Details
Full paper and research note submissions must be formatted for 8.5"x11" paper, with 1" margins on the top and bottom, and 0.75" margins on the left and right sides. The title should be centered in bold face (14-pt Times Roman font preferred), and the body should be in two columns (10-pt Times Roman font preferred). Here are example submission:

Presentations
Full papers will be presented orally in 25 minute talks (including five minutes for questions). At the end of each group of two or three talks, there will be a 10-15 minute open discussion time.
Research notes will be briefly described in 5 minute presentations on Thursday afternoon, then presented at the poster/demo session on Friday morning.
The following A/V equipment will be provided for oral presentations: PC laptop projection, overhead projector, slide projector, VHS video deck and monitor, microphone, pointer.
