Workshop Format
The workshop will be held on November 5th and 6th, 1998 (with a reception on the evening of Nov. 4
th), at the Mark Hopkins InterContinental Hotel in the Nob Hill area of San Francisco. The two-day event will be structured to facilitate a high degree of interaction. There will be oral and poster/demo presentations of current research, as well as invited talks, panel discussions, and open discussion time. The format is intended to emphasize the interdisciplinary nature of perceptual user interfaces, and to expose the participants to the main issues and challenges in each of the related research areas.Invited Speakers

early on, primarily to ensure freedom to make our own decisions - but also because of time
