The Mark Hopkins Inter-Continental Hotel is an elegant four-star, four-diamond hotel on top of Nob Hill, overlooking San Francisco and the San Francisco Bay.  The Mark Hopkins is located at the intersection of California and Mason streets on the cable car line,  and within walking distance of many of the city's major attractions.  Amenities include room service, laundry/valet service, tour and theater desk, gift shop, Avis Rent-A-Car, concierge, fitness room, complimentary limousine transfer to financial district, gourmet restaurant, and the Top of the Mark Skylounge.  They also provide a Japanese-speaking guest relations officer, a Japanese-language service guide, newspaper, TV and information channel.

Travel

The hotel is located about 14 miles from the San Francisco International airport.  Here are a few options for ground transportation from the airport to the hotel:

• Super Shuttle: 1-800-258-3826 (within the USA) or 1-415-558-9593.  
  Frequent trips downtown, pick up right outside the baggage pickup area.  Ask at the Information booth for more information.  One way transfer rate: $10.00 per person.
• Victoria Limousine Service: 1-800-842-1477
  One way transfer rate: $45.00 for Sedan (Lincoln Town Car) for pickup at the curb outside the baggage claim area; $55.00 for pickup at airline gate.  One way transfer rate: $80.00 for stretch limousine (6 passenger).
• Taxi Service: Approximately $25 - $30 one way.
• Car Rental: Parking in San Francisco is expensive ($22/night at the hotel), but there are several rental car companies available for pickup at the airport.
