Using Canon ScanFront 220


  1. Load document(s) to be scanned face down in tray.

  2. Insert USB thumb drive into attached USB cable.

  3. After a second or two, the 'USB memory' icon will no longer be grayed out.

  4. Press the 'USB memory' icon to proceed to the next screen.

  5. Press the 'Downward' button followed by the 'Next' button.

  6. Choose the 'File Format' (TIFF, PDF or JPEG) and set appropriate Scan Settings.

  7. Press 'Start' to start scanning.

  8. In the 'Confirmation' box, choose 'Continue' to scan additional pages into the current document, or press 'Complete' followed by 'Send' if you are finished.

  9. Press 'OK' in the 'Address conformation' dialog box to save the file to your USB drive.

  10. When the copy process is finished, the original screen appears and you may remove your USB drive.
