How can I transfer all my files stored on the csil machines to my home machine?
There are several ways to do this:
a) Depending on your computer setup at home, you can use the 'scp' command to copy files back and forth.
If your home PC is running Windows, there is a good SSH/SCP client available from www.ssh.com. Use the file transfer part of the client to login to your CS account and copy files from there to your Windows computer.
b) You can use a usb flash key to copy files and store them. Plug the device in to a lab machines and copy your files over.
