Software
Software Available Through MCCA
What is the MCCA?
The MCCA program allows the Department to purchase MS products on a yearly subscription basis. The software is licensed per person (not per computer), which means that a licensed person can install the software on all of their computers (home and work).
What products and services are included in the MCCA membership?
The Computer Science Department"s subscription covers all version of MS Office. This also covers the Mac Office products and will include any updates released during our subscription. The Department chose to only subcribe to Office because the remaining software is covered under the MSDN-AA membership.
Who is covered under the MCCA?
Faculty, lecturers, and staff are currently covered under the MCCA membership. Covering students proved to be cost prohibitive at this time.
Where can I get this software?
In the future we hope to have more options available. But, for now, the software can only be checked out in person from Computer Science Support in Engineering I, Rooms 1153 and 1155. Please send an email to support@cs.ucsb.edu to reserve a copy of the software.
