CS Technical FAQ

To obtain access to the CISE/IGERT cluster, have one of the faculty investigators send mail to support@cs.ucsb.edu requesting access on your behalf. The faculty investigators are:

• Ambuj Singh
• Linda Petzold
• John Gilbert
• Rich Wolski

Once approved, you will need a College of Engineering user account. If you do not have a CoE user account, you can apply for one online here.

Next, join the mailing list. All announcements regarding the cluster are sent exculsively to this list.

Important notes for cluster users:

1. Please be sure to add the following acknowledgement in your publications: Infrastructure for the research was partially funded by the National Science Foundation through grants EIA-0080134 and DGE02-21715.
2. Keep us updated and provide us with the complete reference once a paper is published. Send an email to support@cs.ucsb.edu.
