I am a second year undergraduate UC Santa Barbara, pursuing a degree in B.S. Creative Studies with an emphasis in Computer Science. My current plans are to pursue a Masters or Doctoral degree in Computer Science after my undergraduate education. I am also an active researcher at the CURRENT Lab for Secure and Reliable Networking, headed and advised by Professor Ben Y. Zhao.
As a researcher, my work is primarily graph-centric, focusing on graph mining, modeling, and analysis with an emphasis towards online social networks. I also do a bit of work in social network security.
As a developer I am a big advocate of modern technologies, such as the Scala language. I am also interested in technologies that make what would otherwise be annoyingly hard things to do, silly easy (e.g. Actor model for concurrency).
Outside of the computer science world, I enjoy learning about 3D modeling, computer animation and special effects, physics, playing basketball, mountain biking, and hiking.
