Santa Barbara
- The city of Santa Barbara
has its own WWW site with some interesting information.
News and the Stock Market
Volleyball
Once upon a time I used to actually play volleyball... less so now. But
I keep this info around so I can live vicariously through my past!
- Interesting Sites:
- Mike Bertz used to have an awesome page, but alas, nothing in the
WWW is ever permanent. So instead, this new
Volleyball Site
will have to serve as a substitute.
- Indoor: When I was still at Georgia Tech, I
played opposite on the Georgia Tech's Club Team (alas, there used to
be a WWW site for our team too, but no more).
- Outdoor: While Atlanta is not exactly close to the
beach, the weather in the spring and summer is really nice. The most
popular formats in Atlanta during the summer are sand doubles and grass
triples. During one outdoor tournament, a photographer from the
Southeast Volleyball Magazine snapped a
picture (338K)
of me that ended up in the Summer 1994 issue.
Surfing
Snow Skiing
Skiing has really turned into the highlight of my Winters. Since
Santa Barbara doesn't have that much in the way of winters, going skiing
is a nice change. Places I've been skiing:

Weather
If the weather news is good, watch it... and when it comes to Santa Barbara,
it doesn't get any better.
