I am a second-year graduate student in Computer Science at UC Santa Barbara.
Interests: My interests are generally fairly broad, but my research interests are in parallel computing systems and algorithms.
About me: I was born in Rzeszów in south-eastern Poland but moved to North America when I was 9. I earned my BS in Computer Science and Mathematics (with Management and Psych minors) from Purdue University in 2006. That included a semester abroad at Monash University in Melbourne, Australia. I am fluent in English and Polish.
My hobbies include running (favorite race: Sears Tower stair race, as bad as my time was), photography and motorcycles.
I am also the software developer of TimeScale Creator, a program for generating geological time scale charts.
