I am a fourth year Ph.D. candidate in Computer Science at the University of California, Santa Barbara. I work in the Systems, Algorithms, Networking and Data Lab (SAND Lab) co-advised by Prof. Heather Zheng and Prof. Ben Y. Zhao. My research interests are in the areas of wireless and mobile networks, data mining, and social networks.
Prior to coming to UCSB, I received my B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees (both with honors) from the Department of Informatics and Telecommunications of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. I did my Bachelor and Master theses under the guidance of Professor Lazaros Merakos. During my M.Sc. studies, I was also a member of the Management of Data, Information, and Knowledge Group working on digital library interoperability issues.
