Currently, I am a PhD candidate in Computer Science department at UCSB. My research interests include Network and Security Processors, 3-Dimensional ICs, High performance/low power architectures, and Hardware design and modeling. I am working in the UCSB Computer Architecture lab. My advisor is Prof. Timothy Sherwood.

Current News/Updates:

• 18 October 2007 - PhD proposal on "Memory Modeling and Design for High-performance Networking".

• 9-13 June 2007 - Presented carbon nanotube paper in NSC-4 workshop in conjunction with ISCA 2007.

• May 2007 - An extended version of "Controlling spam emails at the Routers" appeared as a magazine article (Invited).

• 11-13 December 2006 - Virtually pipelined network memory paper - nominated for the best paper award in MICRO-39.

• 11-13 December 2006 - Presented Virtually pipelined network memory paper in MICRO 2006 (MICRO-39) held at Orlando, Florida.

• November 2006 - Our 3D introspection paper is selected in the IEEE Micro Top Picks Jan/Feb 2007 issue.

• 1-4 October 2006 - Presented SRAM modeling paper in ICCD 2006 held at San Jose, California.

• 23-31 September 2006 - The memorable cross country trip from New York to San Jose. It was like once in a life-time. Route: New York -> New Jersey -> Pennsylvania -> Indiana -> Illinois -> Wisconsin -> Minnesota -> South Dakota -> Wyoming -> Montana -> Idaho -> Washington -> Oregon -> California. • 26-27 July 2006 - Presented 3D-integration paper in DAC-43 held at San Fransico, California

• Summer 2006 - Internship in IBM TJ Watson Research center in Yorktown heights, NY.

• 28-29 March 2006 - Our paper on "Profiling over adaptive ranges" was selected as the best paper in CGO 2006 held at New York.

• 20 March 2006 - Presented TCAM Modeling paper in ISPASS 2006 held at Austin, Texas.

• Summer 2005 - Internship in ARM Inc, Irvine, working on hardware/software cosimulation.

• 8-10 August 2005 - Presented bus encoding paper in ISLPED 2005 held at San Diego, California.
