About Me
I am an assistant professor in the Department of Computer Science at the University of California, Santa Barbara. My research interests lie in the design, analysis, and implementation of programming languages.
As an undergraduate I attended Duke University; afterwards I served as an active-duty officer in the United States Air Force. During that time I received an M.S. degree at the State University of New York at Utica/Rome. After I left the Air Force I received my Ph.D. from the University of Texas at Austin prior to my appointment as a faculty member at UCSB.
