Amr El Abbadi

Prof. Amr El Abbadi received his B. Eng. from Alexandria University, Egypt in 1980 and his Ph.D. in Computer Science from Cornell University in 1987. In August 1987 he joined the Department of Computer Science at the University of California, Santa Barbara, where he is currently a Professor.

Divyakant Agrawal

Prof. Divyakant Agrawal received a B.E.(Hons.) degree in Electrical Engineering from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science(BITS, Pilani)-India in 1980, and M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Computer Science from SUNY at Stony Brook in 1984 and 1987, respectively. He is on the faculty of the Department of Computer Science at the University of California at Santa Barbara since 1987.

Aaron Elmore

Aaron Elmore has a masters in Computer Science from the University of Chicago and a bachelors in Electronic Commerce Technologies from DePaul University. He has over six years of experience as a software engineer with a focus on e-commerce systems, and currently works as a research assistant for the National Center for Ecological Analysis and Synthesis (NCEAS). His research interests include large scale information management, autonomic systems, and multitenancy.
