Distributed Systems This course provides an introduction to the basic problems in
distributed systems and the various tools used to solve them. Of primary
interest is the issue of fault-tolerance. Topics include event ordering,
clocks, synchronization, mutual exclusion, agreement, and fault-tolerance.
