Turnin Instructions: Before turning in your assignment, please read the instructions in the homework handout carefully. Follow all the requirements specified therein (like executable/source file names, directory layout, etc). After you are ready, turnin the assignment using this script on the cluster or CSIL: turnin hwX@cs240a where X is the homework number (1, 2, 3 or 4). To turnin scribe-notes, use: turnin scribe-notes@cs240a Lateness Policy: Homeworks should be turned in by 12:00 midnight on the date which they are due. Submissions will be timestamped by the turnin script using the CSIL/GSL computer clock. Submissions later than the due date and time is classified as late. Late submissions will be graded using a very simple policy: 1 day late: 2/3rd of your actual grade 2 days late: 1/3rd of your actual grade 3 or more days late: NO CREDIT Performance Measurements: If, as part of an assignment, you are asked to gather some performance statistics, please use the specified platform (cluster2 or BlueHorizon) for that purpose. Performance numbers generated on other architectures (your homebrew cluster, for example :) will NOT count since they make grading difficult and very subjective. START EARLY!! We have limited number of MATLAB licenses on the cluster. Moreover, the department cluster is a shared resource. So make sure that you start working on your homeworks as early as possible. *NO* extensions will be given in case you fail to meet the assignment deadline due to these issues.
