[FLYER to appear soon]
Help us kick off the Scandie dance season in style! Scandinavian fiddle concert at 1:30, then dancing from 2:30 to 5:00. Live music all afternoon by Skandia South fiddlers and visiting friends, and instruction by our wonderful Santa Paula Class teaching staff. Everyone is welcome; no experience or partner necessary.
Following the concert, the dancing will begin with simple walking dances that anyone can do. Then we'll teach the basic turning dances schottis and snoa, and progress to more advanced dances at the end of the afternoon. Wear laced shoes, preferably with leather soles. This is a great way to find out what Scandinavian dancing is like!
