Besides research, Khaled has a lot of passion for teaching. Teaching is certainly one of most noble jobs a person can pursue. Our personalities get shaped and develop based on those who teach us, and we all have great respect for those special ones that taught us something we still carry within ourselves.
Khaled has received the "Outstanding Educator" after his job as an Instructor at UCSB. He also received the "Outstanding Teaching Assistant" award in the CS department at UCSB for every quarter where he worked as a TA, during Fall 2003, Winter 2004, Spring 2004 and Fall 2005.
