About me
I have graduated and joined Bell Labs, Alcatel-Lucent, as a researcher. You will be automatically redirected to my new website here in 5 seconds.
My PhD dissertation was titled "Towards Practical Privacy in Existing Distributed System" and is available here.
I'm a Ph. D. student at the Department of Computer Science, University of California Santa Barbara. Before coming here, I did my Bachelor of Engineering from the National Institute of Technology Karnataka, and worked for a while in the industry.
My research interests are in building large-scale networked systems. Specifically, my focus is on the security and privacy aspects of these systems. My recent focus has been on providing data confidentiality to users of third-party compute clouds, and preserving user location privacy in mobile location-based services. The goal here has been in developing techniques that are easy to incorporate into deployed applications, on today's existing cloud infrastructures, and yet provide strong privacy guarantees. My PhD thesis is about improving privacy in distributed systems, and this work on confidential cloud computing is an important part of it.
