Bio

I am a second year Ph.D. student at University of California Santa Barbara. I also obtained a B.S. in Computer Science from the College of Creative Studies at UCSB. Since my last year as an undergraduate I have worked with Professor Subhash Suri in the applied algorithms lab. My research primarily has focused on pursuit evasion. Specifically, we have looked at the problem of capture in visibility based pursuit evasion in the presence of obstacles.

From a less research oriented perspective, I am an avid programmer, always looking for a fun side project. I particularly enjoy anything to do with programming languages, but in general I enjoy working on any challenging problem.

I can be reached via email at kyleklein@cs.ucsb.edu.
