Welcome to Nan Li's home page!
I am currently a Ph.D. candidate at the Department of Computer Science, University of California, Santa Barbara. I am also a member of the Information Network Academic Research Center. My realm of research spans across data mining, graph theory, large-scale information networks analysis, machine learning, business analytics and optimization, etc. Recently I have been working on various research projects related to large scale graph mining and graph query answering, under the supervision of Professor Xifeng Yan.
Before I started my Ph.D. studies at UCSB, I received my B.E. in Computer Science from Wuhan University in 2005 and my M.S. in Computer Science from Peking University in 2008. For a more detailed version of my biography, click here.

♦ WiCS: It is my absolute honor to announce that I have just been appointed as the new president of Women in Computer Science (WiCS) at UCSB. Our group is open to all women students, faculty, staff, as well as alumnae of Computer Science at UCSB. We aim to establish a platform to empower women in Computer Science, and women in science and technology at large.
