Create your "CS130g home page". Email me the link where it will be.
If you don't already have some place to host it, you can host it on USCB's U-Web Service
Your page should include:
- A title element with exactly the following content (substitute your name in place of Chris Smith).
CCS CS130g, Chris Smith, UCSB 08S
- An H1 element with the content:
CCS CS130g, Chris Smith
- A description of—or a link to a separate page with a description of—of your current skills and interests regarding web development. Include your level of skill with each of the following technologies.
- HTML, CSS, PHP, Java, Java Servlets/JSP, Ruby on Rails, MySQL, XML, XSLT, JavaScript, AJAX
- A description of—or a link to a separate page with a description of—your ideas about projects for this class (or if you don't have any particular ideas, and would like me to suggest some to you, write that.)
- At least one image element to which you have the rights, either
- because it is a picture you took, or a image you created yourself with an image editing program, OR
- because it is a public domain image, or
- or because it is some other usable image (e.g. Creative Commons License)
- A link to the UCSB home page http://www.ucsb.edu
- A link to the CCS home page http://www.ccs.ucsb.edu
- A link to the CS130g home page http://www.cs.ucsb.edu/~pconrad/ccs/cs130g
- It should validate as valid HTML 4.01 Strict, or XHTML 1.0 Strict, or XHTML 1.1 (your choice)
- Forward and Backward links in a web ring of all students in the class. Base the links on where you normally sit in the room.
