Download Page for UCSB GSM Measurements

We are making available the dataset we used in our paper at SIGCOMM IMC 2010:

On the Feasibility of Effective Opportunistic Spectrum Access, Vinod Kone, Lei Yang, Xue Yang, Ben Y. Zhao, and Haitao Zheng.  Proceedings of the 10th ACM SIGCOMM Internet Measurement Conference (IMC), Melbourne, Australia, November 2010.

Our dataset measurement is a trace gathered using an Agilent Cellular receiver on the GSM 1900 Downlink band, 1925-1995 MHz.  Each channel has width 200kHz.

The data is available for download below:
  • The gzipped data file.
  • The readme file with formatting information.
  • The other datasets used in our paper are also publicly available, courtesy of the Spectrum Measurement group at RWTH Aachen University, here.
