I am currently a Postdoctoral Scholar in the Department of Mechanical Engieering and the Center for Control, Dynamical Systems and Computation. My supervisor is Professor Bassam Bamieh.
I completed my PhD in the Department of Computer Science at UCSB in June 2009 under the advisement of Professor Amr El Abbadi.
Current research projects include:
- Design and analysis of models for opinion and information dynamics in complex networks and development of scalable algorithms for shaping these dynamics though strategic network modification.
- Tomographic sensing with ultrasonic transceivers, for generation of 3-dimensional maps of temperature, air flows, and chemical clouds.
I am also a contributor to the NSF-funded project From a Virtualized Computing Nucleus to a Cloud Computing Universe.
