The issue.pl test checks the validity of the request processing. The client benchmark runs a number of parallel connections to all three servers and really benchmarks the performance of the servers.
The trace files are:
100 auctions, 5000 requests: 5000.init, 5000.trace
1 auction, 5000 requests: 5001.init, 5001.trace
