I am an INDIAN. I love India because

POSITIVES
I am a citizen of India by birth. I adore its culture with pride.
India has Mai, "Papa Jee", "Babu Moshai", "Sardar Jee","Imam Jee", Pathan, Dada, "Sir Jee", "Bade Babu", Didi, Bootliwala, Swami, Amma  ....
India has "Namaste","Vanakam","Pranam","Majama chho", "Bhalo", "Sat Sri Akal ", "Namaskara","Salaam-Alaikum" ....
Indians will never get bored of eating. They have halwa, puri, pakoda, tandoori, muglai, sarso ka saag, makke ki roti, idli, sambhar, bada, khir.... and above all chawal, daal , roti and sabji.
India has more than rock and pop in its  music.
Indians have more musical instruments than guitar, drum and violon.
Indian family still includes kaka, kaki, dada, dadi, mama, mami ....
India has Ganga, Brahmputra, Sutluj, Krishna, Himalays, ....
India has Lata Mangeskar, Amitabh Bachchan and Sachin Tendulkar.
India has IITs and IIMs.
India has Bollywood.  Few movies can be "box-office hit" without songs and dances in the woods.
Sardar Jee do not mind lending his name for jokes.
Saree is the only dress that seems to fit best into any kind of woman.
Saas-Bahu soaps never seems to bore Indian woman.
Indian Men respect the Woman most a) Worship in form of Sakti. b) How much exploited and suppressed initially, bahu rules the house once she is saas. c) A group of people go to bride house to receive and bring her to groom house with all respect and honour. Its "Baraat" in great Indian Saadi". d) Dowry is an evil, still it teaches parents/brothers to Sacrifice their happiness to buy happiness for their daughter/sisters.

BEING POSITIVE
India has large scale unemployment. So you learn to Struggle for livelihood.
You seem to find thugs and corrupt persons almost everywhere. So, you learn to be Careful.
Civic amenities are still growing. So you learn to Endure with the worst.
India has very low job:youth ratio. So you  learn to be Competitive.
Health facilities still needs to grow. So, you keep yourself  Healthy as much as possible.
There is Police but no Policing. So learn to Rely on Self to protect yourself always.
Beggars are common to see. Contributing a rupee to them makes you feel Humane, Humble and Kind.
Here you can be late but still Hope to catch a flight.
India have violent rallies and bandhs. So you learn to keep yourself Prepared always.
I never missed my 7:30AM public bus to office at Hyderabad because I could board the bus easily. A little Discipline in life.
Long Queues are a common sight. A symbol of Organized community.
A traveler has to cross unseen hurdles to reach his destination. A poor has survived his yesterday. A patient has to survive today. A student has to survive the future.  Challenge of Uncertainty.
Indians skip work to watch cricket. Its Passion. I also love to do it.
Grand Children still finds a lot of affinity with Grand Parents..... I was lucky to share my childhood with my Grand Parents. Its Love.
Sons still believe in serving their parents. Its Service.
Some students study under earthen lamps and still qualify for IITs. Its Hard Work and Intelligence.
Indians best celebrate the Spirit of brother-sister with rakhi, Spirit of masti with holi, Spirit of light with deewali,  Spirit of sun and moon with chhath, Spirit of leadership with ram navami,  Spirit of agriculture with sankranti, onam ...
