IntroductionI am third year PhD candidate with Prof Ambuj Singh in DBL lab at UCSB . I was born and brought up at Bokaro Steel City , Jharkhand. I obtained my B.Tech. degree in Computer Science from Institute of Technology,  Banaras Hindu University in the year 2003.

Research My area of interest is Image Informatics. I am presently associated with analysis, mining and retrieval of images. I am working to find similar and statistically significant regions of arbitrary shapes for a given rectangular query region in biological images.
