I am a final year PhD candidate with Prof Ambuj Singh in DBL lab, Department of Computer Science at University of California at Santa Barbara. I was born and brought up at Bokaro Steel City, Jharkhand, India. I obtained M.S. degree in Computer Science from the Department of Computer Science, UCSB. I obtained B.Tech. degree in Computer Science from Institute of Technology,  Banaras Hindu University.

Research

My research interest spans all aspects of querying and mining of very high dimensional heterogenous data of large scale for knowledge discovery and data exploration. My projects include similarity search in large scale multimedia (images and videos) datasets, nearest neighbor search in very high dimensional datasets, spatial pattern querying, and keyword set search in high dimensional text rich spatial data. My recent focus is mining of spatial and graph data.
