I am a PhD student in Computer Science at U.C. Santa Barbara (UCSB). Since 2006 I have been working with the Multimedia Database Laboratory (MMDB) headed by Prof. Edward Y. Chang. I am interested in the area of data mining, machine learning, and parallel computing. Before joining UCSB, I graduated with B.S. and M.S. in Computer Science from National Chiao Tung University (NCTU) in Taiwan. I am currently on leave from UC, working with Google Research at Beijing, China.
