Homework

The purpose of homework in this class is 2-fold:

  1. To cause you to creatively apply the ideas presented in class or the textbook. This creative process is when you truly learn the material.
  2. To provide a basis for your course grade. This 2nd purpose also is intended to motivate you with respect to the 1st purpose.

All homework is due in the CS 40 homework box in 2108 Harold Frank Hall at 12:45 on the lecture day after the day it is assigned.

The 1-lecture turnaround for homework ensures that you grapple with and learn the course material in a timely manner.
